Azuga was founded in 2013 by Ananth Rani (“Rani”), who continues to serve as the Company’s Chief Executive Officer. The Company was built around telematics technology that introduced gamification to the driving experience, awarding points to drivers based on things like hard-braking, acceleration, sustained high speeds and driving in adverse weather conditions. The technology was developed with a view to making fleets more efficient, safe, and cost-effective.
