History

In 2000 Rajul Garg, Manoj Agarwala, Sanjay Singh, and Tarun Upadhyay banded together to found Induslogic in Vienna, Virginia. An offshore software R&D services firm, it provided assistance across the product development lifecycle, ranging from experience design to product engineering to content engineering to lab work. Induslogic maintained a service delivery center in Noida, India.

Over the decade, Induslogic was able to raise much funding to aid its efforts, starting with $12.5 million in a Series B round in 2006. It also expanded internationally, opening offices in England and Chile. Moreover, it acquired several firms, enabling it to expand its capabilities. When it bought Bonus Technology, it changed its name to GlobalLogic. In 2013 the firm was acquired by ODSA Topco.

These include offshore software R&D services vendors Lambent Technologies, InterObject, and Cubika; Rofous Software, a content engineering firm; and Method Incorporated, a brand experience agency. Its biggest cost driver is likely cost of services, a variable expense. Other major drivers are in the areas of product development, research/development, and sales/marketing, all fixed costs.

GlobalLogic has one revenue source: revenues from the contracts clients sign to obtain its portfolio of services. Sales staff must be contacted directly for pricing as it varies by client and other factors.
