Founding story

Judge Group was founded in 1970 by Martin Judge. The Company began as a staffing services provider, providing personnel trained in engineering and other high-technology fields to corporations on a permanent basis.

The Company grew steadily in its early years, but in 1985 launched a more targeted expansion strategy, reorganising the business, diversifying its services, and making a number of strategic acquisitions.

Judge Group has continued to expand the scope and breadth of its operations, and now has a presence in 22 US states, as well as in China, India, and Canada. The Company was formerly publicly listed but has since returned to private hands. It is among the largest companies of its kind in the US.

Judge Group operates a website at www.judge.com, through which it provides information on its various services, operating locations, and target industries. While the Company does not operate an online sales channel, it does allow prospective customers to request services through an online contact form or over the phone. It also operates online portals for clients and for candidates using its job board service, through which they are able to access a range of tools and resources.

Judge Group makes sales through its various direct sales teams, which are organised by geographic region and service line. The Company operates an extensive network of offices across the US, spanning 22 states, through which its domestic sales personnel operate. The Company additionally operates offices across Canada, China, and India. Judge group does not appear to utilise the services of reseller and distributor partners to any significant extent.

While Judge Group enables customers to request services through its website, the Company does not offer its products and services to customers on a self-service basis. Martin Judge,
Chief Executive Officer

info: Martin Judge (“Judge”), the son of the Company’s founder of the same name, has served as Chief Executive Officer at Judge Group since 2017. He is responsible for leading the Company’s overall strategic direction. Judge first joined Judge Group in 2005 as a Technical Recruiter, specialising in information technology contract and direct hire staffing. He was later promoted to the position of Resource Manager of the SAP Practice for the Judge Consulting Group, a subsidiary of The Judge Group. He has since held senior executive roles at the Company, including a spell as Vice President from 2008 to 2012 and Executive Vice President from 2012 to 2016.

Robert Alessandrini,
Chief Financial Officer

info: Robert has served as Chief Financial Officer at Judge Group since joining the Company in 1998. He is responsible for overseeing the operations of the Company’s various financial units, including its accounting, internal audit, and tax departments. Alessandrini is a chartered financial analyst and has held a number of financial management roles since the early 1990s. He began his career in 1992 as a financial analyst at The Vanguard Group, where he worked for four years. In 1996 he joined Dupont Capital Management, where he served for two years as an analyst before joining Judge Group in 1998.

Katy Wiercinski,
Chief Operating Officer

In this role, she is responsible for all of the Company’s support and administrative functions, overseeing much of the Company’s day-to-day operations. Wiercinski is a long-serving Judge Group employee, having first joined the Company in 1981.
