Jobs in Little Rock: More than the Cheese Dog
Which US city holds the honor of being the home of the cheese dog? Little Rock in Arkansas, of course! In 1956, the Finkbeiner Meat Packing Company created the cheese dog—as you well know, a hot dog with processed cheese inside. Eventually, this trend became popular not only in the US but in the entire world!
Besides the infamous cheese dog, Little Rock has many outside local and international visitors, because of the Clinton Presidential Library with documentation on Bill Clinton’s presidency; the Pinnacle Mountain State Park with its festivals, picnics, hiking paths, etc.; the Big Dam Bridge, with its longest cyclist or pedestrian bridge in North America; the Vanishing Hitchhiker, with a cemetery of moving statues; the Whole Hog Cafe, with its barbecue menu chockfull of meats, sauces, and potato salads; the Old Mill, with memories of the film, Gone with the Wind; the Arkansas River Lights, with 3 bridges filled with thousands of lights; and the Diamond Bear Brewery, with traditionally made beer.
Because of its tourist sites and lifestyle (as you will read soon), people usually consider Little Rock for work.
