Woodridge is a town located in the US state of Illinois. Located around 30 miles to the west of Chicago, the town is considered a suburb of that city. The city boasts a population of around 40,000 inhabitants and was ranked 61st on Money Magazine’s 100 Best Places to Live.

Woodridge is a relatively young city, being incorporated only in 1959, when it had a population of 500. It experienced most of its growth in the 60’s and 70’s, with the population doubling many times over during these decades.

Even with Chicago right on the doorstep, the city of Woodridge is able to boast a diverse local employment market.
The stand out here is the International Center, one of the largest business parks in the Chicago area that boasts over 13 million square feet of warehouses and industrial space.
