Required Qualifications of the Senior Advertising Technology Manager
Education: The Senior Advertising Technology Manager must have bachelor’s degree (master’s preferred) in Sales, Marketing, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or any other related field. The equivalent of this requirement in working experience is also acceptable for this position.
Experience: A candidate for this position must have had at least 5 years of experience working in an ad technology position, preferably working as an Advertising Technology Manager. The Senior Advertising Technology must also demonstrate substantial experience working with various software in sales operations for example, SalesForce, Operative, DSM, Oracle, DFP, and so forth. A suitable candidate will also have a proven ability to identify and implement technology and tools that result in the creation of scalable, efficient, and flexible sales operations, advertising campaigns/programs.
Communication Skills: Communication skills are also necessary skills for this position, both in verbal and written form. The effectiveness of communication from the Senior Advertising Technology Manager all the way to the junior departments will determine the performance level of the junior ad technology team.
