By simply reading the few sentences in your resume summary, the recruiter can immediately tell whether you have what they are looking for or not.

If you can show them that you have what they want, this will get them interested in going through the rest of your resume. The point here is to keep your resume summary short and to the point.

  • Mention your strongest skills and areas of expertise.
  • For a resume summary, mention your years of experience.
  • If you have the experience, mention one or two key things you achieved in your previous position.
