Beekeeper was founded in 2012 by Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich (ETH) graduates Flavio Pfaffhauser and Cristian Grossmann. Beekeeper allows employees who have limited or no access to desktop computers and corporate email addresses the ability to stay in touch with the rest of their organization. Employers can set up access through proving logins and passwords or created a Quick Response (QR) code that employees can scan. Through the application teams can send messages, update assignment statuses, and share information. Their mobile application is available for download on iOS and Android devices.
